The TIme Has Come!

As you probably are aware by now, the Senate Finance Committee, approved the passage of a Health care reform bill. If the bill itself isn't scary enough. Did you know it wasn't even on a piece of paper. For the first time anyone can think of, a bill got through committee without even being a written bill. I think a certain party is getting to big for it britches. The time is now, you must react. Tell the Senate you do not support a bill that will change health care and cost the average American family $4000 more per year. I can't afford it and you probably can't either. Tell your Senator now. Make a point to make that very important phone call everyday. Let them know we will not stand for it any longer. Just like you brush your teeth each morning. Pick up the phone and make a quick call to let them know it's not OK. Together we can get our country back before the Red flag waives in your front yard!

Yikes!

Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) Was interviewed on "the Chris Baker show" Thursday 10/8. During the interview she revealed that the House only temporarily cut off funding to the group known as ACORN. The taxpayer was led to believe that there funding had been cut off permanently. Below is the line in the conference report that accompanied H.R.2918

ACORN: The CR would prohibit funds from this or any prior law from being provided to Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) or its affiliates. This provision would expire on October 31, 2009.
