Newt wins South Carolina

Like you the field doesn't feel warm and fuzzy to me. Ron Paul is the strongest candidate on paper. His foreign policy has some people questioning. His age doesn't help. He isn't a great speaker. Still this guys favorite. Santorum has the conservative social policy but, is a big government supporter (does that sound familiar) and Romney has his demons, he was a Democrat that made big government choices in Mass. He has changed his standing on nearly everything. If you believe he has truly come from the dark side he looks good. But, Gingrich really! He is a progressive, his words not mine. He ideals himself a Roosevelt Republican. He has even referred to himself a Wilsonian Republican. This is when the sound of the tires screeching happens. Any man no matter what the party who is willing to lie in bed with either of those two past Presidents, is a progressive!

D.O.L. Another Government Problem

The Dept of Labor has told the President that there isn't a benefit to creating the Keystone Pipeline. Are these people all cracked? Not only is there an estimated 100,000 jobs expected to be created but, it would further move us from foreign oil. Am I missing something here?

Say NOPA to SOPA

SOPA for those of you who didn't spend any time on the internet Wednesday. I another excuse for BIG Government! It will essentially create new controls and new taxes on internet usage. Google it. You will not like what you read. Than call your Senator and tell them "NO".

Caucus time is here!

Remember the only way to change the party is to be the party. Minnesota caucus time is here. Tuesday February 7th. Mark your calendars. If you don't know your precinct go to the state GOP website. That site can also be linked through the Chisago GOP site listed below. The time is now.

Why Minnesota why?

Why, at the highest level is there a lack of transparency and accountability in the states public health care programs?

Why, has The Department of Human Services outsourced these programs and has apparently lost control of the data and the operations of programs as well as any ability to contain costs?

Why, for some years we have known that the health plans do very well managing the states money while health care providers universally suffer?

Why, after more than a year of inquiry, we now know that the states actuary has been allowed to consult with the states venders? Creating at least the appearance of conflict sufficient to require an independent third party audit.

You are the change!

I know many are not happy about Romney being the probable candidate. I understand. The idea of McCann part deux is stomach turning. You ask yourself what the hell is the Republican party thinking? Don't beat yourself up! You will never figure the moderates out. What you need to do is get involved. You don't have to me a Republican to do it. If you're a conservative, Tea Partier, Libertarian or just plain "right" minded. Get involved. Don't complain about the Republican Party. Enter and change the Republican Party!
