Arizona + Illegals = About time!

Enough is enough. President Bush didn't get it done. Obama wants to turn them all into voters. So, Arizona stood up and took action. This is the way Republics work. States need to look out for themselves. State's exercise their rights, President gets pissy and the looneys riot (not the Tea Party).

Sorry!

It has been awhile. I have been very busy. Not only has work picked up. But, the county politics have taken several hours of my time. We have two solid candidates running in our Senate and House seats. I will keep you up to date.

HealthCare Conference

What a joke. More of the President showing all of us how much more compassionate and how much smarter he is than the rest of America. Why did the Republican bother going to begin with. Let's face the facts. This administration has zero interest in comparing notes and negotiating a good plan. Its Stalinized, socialized health insurance or nothing. My question to you is why can't the President just go with the easier to implement ideas and give them a chance to work. Things such as Tort Reform, portable heath care and the other ideas that have come up that will allow Capitalism to work? What are your thoughts?

Governor Who?

It is nearly time to caucus. It is up to you to get the party set straight. Don't let them pick the "right" person for you. The Republican Party has become a joke and a fraud. Get out, give 'em hell and get a conservative on the ticket. Let's avoid another John McCain fiasco.

Question?

I recently had this discussion with a few co-workers.
If you qualify to take advantage of government program such as the Tarp fund housing rescue, should you? Consider the criteria. A person who has worked their entire adult life, always paid their taxes and never has used a government program before. Should they do it? Will they ever get the money they put into the system already? Should they stand on principle? Is this program really any different than cash for clunkers? Is it different than the "first time" home buyer program? I will leave my opinion out of it for a second, what are your thoughts?
