Recent e-mail I recieved.
Janice and I visited the Minnesota State Fair today.
We truly have a great state fair. Families can travel the fair in safety
with little fear of bodily harm or lewd behavior.
We ran into an old friend and sat to talk for while.
Approximately twenty five young families passed by pushing small children in
strollers while we were talking. We talked a little politics and it
occurred to me that the Federal Government is taking money away from these
young families to pay for my Medicare Insurance.
What do you think a $100 or $150 per month of cash money
would mean to a young family.
One other thing troubled me about this scenario. How
many of the Senior citizens even know who is paying their premiums, and how
many even care. And is gets even sadder, these young families are so used
to being ripped off by the government that they do not even notice anymore.
Because Janice and I elected to apply for Social Security
early the Federal Government enrolled us in Medicare without our permission or
knowledge when we turned 65. I am starting to believe we are slaves
to they state.
But the real slaves to the state are the young families
whoes money is being taken from their children to pay our Medicare premiums.

Aug 19 Lakes Area Police Bar ProtectMyVote.com from Ki-Chi-Saga Parade in Chisago, MN
Written by Dan McGrath.
ProtectMyVote.com will request an investigation into
whether officers’ actions were politically motivated
Chisago, Minnesota – Lakes Area Police officers today
barred the ProtectMyVote.com parade unit from the Ki-Chi-Saga Grand Day parade
in Chisago, Minnesota.
ProtectMyVote.com was paid, registered and assigned unit
number 71 for the parade that started at 2:00 this afternoon. It was the very
last unit in the lineup, but after the unit immediately before it passed
through the intersection onto the parade route, police barricaded the road and
refused to allow ProtectMyVote.com to follow.
4 non-parade vehicles travelling the road had cut into
the parade line in front of ProtectMyVote.com. Officers directed thiem onto a
side road, and then, to ballot committee chairman Dan McGrath’s astonishment,
officers ordered ProtectMyVote.com off the road as well.
McGrath was driving the ProtectMyVote.com van. “We’re
paid and registered for this parade,” he told one of the three officers blocking
the road.
“You should have been on time. Turn off the road,” he
responded. At that point, the parade unit ProtectMyVote.com was following was
about 6 car-lengths further ahead.
“We were on time. These 4 cars ahead of me cut into the
parade lineup. I drove for 2 hours to participate in this parade. Are you
seriously not going to let us through?”
“I’m serious. Now get off the road,” the officer ordered.
Another officer chimed in, “We’re serious. Move it.”
McGrath complied and turned off onto the side street,
parked and attempted to reach parade organizers on the phone without success.
Next, he walked to the intersection and asked the officers for contact
information for their supervisors. “That was pretty poor,” he told an officer
who identified himself as Mike Merchlewitz.”
“Yeah,” he replied dismissively.
McGrath had spoke to the officer 20 minutes prior to this
encounter about the lineup order. The officer was aware that ProtectMyVote.com
was on-time and authorized to be in the parade, but barred the group from
participating in the parade regardless.
McGrath said he’s lodged a complaint with the Lakes Area
Police Department and requested a refund for the entry fee from parade
organizers. He said he’ll also request an investigation into whether the
officers’ actions were politically motivated.

Kim warns troops to prepare for 'sacred war' during US-South Korea exercises By the CNN Wire Staff updated 4:18 PM EDT, Sat August 18, 2012
(CNN) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Un
told his troops to be vigilant during upcoming training exercises
between South Korea and the United States, saying they should be ready
to lead a "sacred war," state media reported Saturday.
Kim's comments came
during a visit on Mu Island with troops who participated in the 2010
shelling of South Korea's Yeonpyeong Island, an attack that North Korea
at the time said South Korea provoked by holding war games off their
shared coast.
"He ordered the service
persons of the detachment to be vigilant against every move of the enemy
and not to miss their gold chance to deal at once deadly counter blows
at the enemy, if even a single shell is dropped on the waters or in the
area where the sovereignty of (North Korea) is exercised," the state-run
KCNA news agency reported.
The warning followed an
announcement by the United States and South Korea that their joint
"Ulchi Freedom Guardian" training exercises would begin Monday and
conclude by August 31.
North Korea was informed of the dates of the exercises by the U.N. armistice commission.
The Neutral Nations
Supervisory Commission, which was established by the Korean Armistice
Agreement that brought about an end to the Korean War, will supervise
the exercise, South Korea and the United States military said in a joint
statement. The commission includes representatives from Switzerland,
China and other nations selected by the United Nations.
Washington and Pyongyang
have no diplomatic relations. North and South Korea have no formal ties
and remain technically in a state of war since a 1953 truce that ended
the Korean War.
During the visit with troops, Kim observed Yeonpyeong Island "clearly visible from the post," KCNA reported.
The Yeonpyeong attack in
November 2010 was the first direct artillery assault on South Korea by
North Korea since 1953, when an armistice ending the fighting.
Two civilians and two
South Korean marines died in the attack, which South Korea's government
at the time called a "definite military provocation" by North Korea.
The sparsely populated
Yeonpyeong is located just south of the Northern Limit Line, the line
drawn in 1953 by the United Nations at the end of the Korean War. The
United Nations drew the line three nautical miles from the North Korean
coast and put five islands close to the coast under South Korean
control.
That was supposed to be a
temporary arrangement. But in the absence of a full peace agreement,
the Northern Limit Line remains in place.
North Korea has been virtually isolated from the world by international sanctions over its development of a nuclear program.
CNN's Ben Brumfield contributed to this report.

Hannity Urges Akin To Consider Dropping Out In Interview With Him
In an interview with nationally syndicated radio talk show host Sean
Hannity this afternoon beleaguered U.S. Senate hopeful Todd Akin
(R-Missouri) said he is staying in the race despite controversy and
widespread condemnation of his remarks on rape.
"I'm announcing today that we're going to stay in," Akin said on the radio.
This led Hannity to ask if he is thinking about anyone but himself.
"As a political observer I see it differently here. I think for the next week all you're going to hear from Democrats is your comments. And, look, I'm a Christian so I believe in forgiveness. And I can just tell by the sound of your voice that you're very sincere in your apology. But I also -- I think there is one political reality that I think has to be faced by you and your campaign and that is that you know, the reality here is that Democrats now have a ton of ammunition and they are now going to try to use these remarks to hurt everybody they can. And if I was put in that position, I would at least be thinking about what is in the best interest of the party. hat is in the best interest of, you know, Mitt Romney in this case. What is in the best interest of the people of Missouri, are they going to be able to hear a campaign about issues or is this going to be the distraction of the campaign. Are you -- you're not even considering that?" Hannity asked.
"Those are all legitimate points, Sean, and you know I'm trained as an engineer and you look at both sides of the equation and you say, 'You know, what are the pros and the cons?' On the other side, here you have somebody who is a conservative, unabashed pro-lifer where as Claire McCaskill is the exact opposite. And you got a real contrast and a simple choice for the people of the state of Missouri. And I think that strong voting record and that record that is the exact opposite of hers -- the question is, does that overcome, you know, the question of people that are upset over one word spoken in one day in one sentence. And I think that there is an awful of people that believe in mercy and forgiveness and God's love. I made a single error in one sentence," Akin said.
"But I think that the people of Missouri are big enough to take a look at the whole package and say, 'Hey, this Obama is about to break our country and Claire McCaskill is a rubber stamp for him and so we need somebody who is going to take the fight to them. And I believe that we're going to do that," Akin added.
Akin would have to drop out by 5p.m. tomorrow or his name will remain on the ballot no matter what.

MSNBC’s TourĂ©: Romney Engaging In The ‘Niggerization’ Of Obama
On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Cycle the group discussed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney‘s assertion that President Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.” Co-host TourĂ©
saw what he believes to be explicit racial connotations beneath what
Romney was saying, calling it the “niggerization” of the campaign.
“That really bothered me,” he said. “You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”
“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘niggerization,’” TourĂ© said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists. “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”
Naturally this led to a battle between TourĂ© and conservative co-host S.E. Cupp. She took particular issue with the fact that TourĂ© admitted that VP Joe Biden‘s “chains” comments were divisive, but is now calling Romney a “racist” for saying the Obama campaign is “angry.”
“Do you see how dishonest that is?” she asked.
TourĂ© denied calling anyone a racist, which prompted Cupp to say, “Certainly you were implying that Mitt Romney and the base will respond to this dog-whistle, racially-charged coding, and hate Obama, the angry black man?”
“Absolutely,” he replied.
“That’s so irresponsible,” Cupp answered back.
“This is not a revolutionary comment,” TourĂ© later said. “This is a constituency all-white party that rejects the black vote.”
“You have two white guys in Joe Biden and Mitt Romney,” Cupp clarified. “Joe Biden made the overtly racial comment and has a history of making bigoted remarks. Mitt Romney was responding to the comment. Yet he is the one responsible for the whole Republican history of racism in politics?”
“That’s not what TourĂ© is saying,” co-host Krystal Ball interjected. “You’re twisting his words.”
“No, he can speak for himself,” Cupp shot back.
“He’s using the playbook Republicans have been using for decades now,” TourĂ© concluded.

You didn't build that.
It has been well established that the President has no clue as to what it is like to be a business owner. Really, he doesn't understand what it is like to work in the Private sector. With his comments "You didn't build that" he has proved it. The question is, the comments have been lingering for some time now. Do you think that it has legs to stick until the election?

Obama camp: 1,000 attended 'half-full' fundraiser
By JENNIFER EPSTEIN |
CHICAGO -- Republicans quickly jumped on a report that President Obama’s
largest fundraiser here Sunday was only “half full,” but the crowd for
the event was larger than the Obama campaign had initially anticipated.8/12/12 6:35 PM EDT
“At Obama fundraiser in Chicago. Admission only $51, but room is half full,” New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor wrote on Twitter.
The Romney campaign seized on Kantor’s estimate, as spokesman Ryan Williams tweeted, “Thrill is gone.” The Drudge Report also piled on, linking to Kantor’s tweet, which has been reposted by a few hundred others. (Kantor quickly followed up with additional tweets noting that only some tickets to the event cost $51 and that the campaign said the event was sold out.)
But the crowd for the afternoon fundraiser at the Bridgeport Art Center totaled 1,000, an Obama campaign official said – more than the 850-person estimate the campaign offered earlier in the weekend. Tickets for the Gen44 fundraiser, targeted at younger supporters, started at $51, but many were more expensive.
And, to this reporter and several others in the White House press pool, the room seemed plenty full. There was empty space at the back of the large loft space during and immediately after the president's remarks, but the crowd was densely packed to get close to the stage at the front of the room where Obama spoke.

Paul Ryan bio emerges with insightful, unexpected stories
The Paul Ryan story -- with facts both random and revealing --
emerges and evolves as the Wisconsin congressman ascends the GOP ladder
from the House’s top budget writer to vice presidential candidate.
When Ryan talks about his working-class understanding of business he would likely know – considering that at as high-schooler he worked the grill at McDonald’s.
“The manager didn’t think I had the social skills to work the counter,” Ryan says in an in-depth New Yorker interview published this month.
He also had a sales gig with Oscar Meyer in which he once got to drive the Wienermobile, according to The Daily Caller.
Other former jobs, likely more familiar to Capitol Hill types, are two Ryan held while getting his start on Capitol Hill -- drink server at the popular Tortilla Coast restaurant and trainer at the Washington Sport and Health Club, according to The Politico.
The 6-foot-2 Ryan, who weighs roughly 163 pounds, told the Los Angeles Times he wears a heart-rate monitor during workouts and tries to hit a target heart of 165 beats a minute.
His worst habit? “I drink two cups of coffee every morning,” Ryan told the newspaper.
While Ryan’s grueling workouts are well known by now, National Public Radio reports that he also spends free time hunting, fishing and likes to listen to Led Zeppelin.
Ryan is married to Janna Little, a tax attorney who graduated from Wellesley College and the George Washington University Law School. The names of their three children are Elizabeth Anne, Charles Wilson and Samuel Lowery, according to Wikipedia.
Don’t bother looking for any personal information on Ryan’s Facebook page; it’s full on budget information, including a budget-deficit graph on the homepage.
That Ryan drew political inspiration from New York GOP Rep. Jack Kemp is well know. Yet The Buffalo News this weekend pulled from it a deep list of sources and thorough reporting to include this anecdote:
“Michael Caputo, a local Republican consultant who worked with Ryan and Kemp at Empower America, recalled gathering with former colleagues at Kemp’s funeral, and wondering who would claim Kemp’s mantle. Everyone agreed it would be Ryan – at which point the congressman entered and said: “Hi, guys,” the paper reports.

Question?
Barack Obama and Mit Romney are both interviewing right now for the best job in the country. Mr. Obama currently has the job. He has had it for 4 years. He has a track record doing the job. (A poor one at that) Mr. Romney really really wants that job. He has been a leader prior to, both in the private and public sector. However, the truth is they are interviewing for the Presidents seat in the Oval Office. So, my logic tells me that they should be talking about that job. What they have done in that job (Obama) and what they would do if they had it (Romney). With that most basic train of thought, my opinion would be that Romney needs to control the debate. All questions about credibility and ability should be in regards to the job they are interviewing for. Romney needs to make the President defend his position and decisions while holding the job. It is high time that Romney goes on offence and Obama on defense. Do you agree?

Sent to me recently by a friend. What do you think?
> #1) One-Year Income Tax Vacation — Award every
taxpayer in this country a one-year income tax vacation. This plan costs about
the same $1 Trillion that Obama spent on his failed Stimulus-to-nowhere. But
watch this version of stimulus turn a bust to boom as taxpayers and
entrepreneurial risk-takers invest record sums, now sitting on the sidelines,
into business creation and expansion, stocks and real estate- thereby creating
a jobs explosion.
>
> #2) Welcome taxpayers back from the income tax
vacation with a permanent and simple Flat Income Tax, combined with zero
Capital Gains tax. This emulates the most successful economy in the world- Hong
Kong. Start the flat tax at 20%, to be reduced to 15% when the budget deficit
is reduced to no more than 3% of GDP. This combination will stimulate and
reward risk-takers and small business innovators, thereby creating millions of
new jobs.
>
> #3) Offer “angel investors” a New Investment Tax
Credit. Investors would receive dollar for dollar tax credits up to $100,000
for investments in IPO’s, secondary offerings, startups, and new real estate
developments. This would stimulate the economy by rewarding entrepreneurship
and job creation. Two of every three new jobs are created by small business.
But almost 100% of these jobs come from business startups.
>
> #4) Suspend the Employer Payroll Tax for two years.
Small business needs a break. Give them two years without having to pay for the
payroll taxes of their employees. The savings will be invested in new job
creation, expansion of a business, a new startup, or capital improvements.
Millions of new jobs will be created overnight.
>
> #5) Cut the corporate income tax rate from 35%
(currently 2ndhighest in industrialized world) to a flat 15%…but in order to
pay for it, eliminate allcorporate welfare. We should support free market
capitalism — not a crony capitalist government that picks winners and losers,
and awards favors, subsidies, and sweetheart deals to the biggest campaign
contributors.
>
> #6) Turn illegal immigration from a cost to a
benefit. First, secure the borders with a combination of virtual technology and
greatly enhanced border security. Then offer INSTANT CITIZENSHIP for any
immigrant in the world that brings $250,000 or more to invest in a U.S. home or
business within six months of arrival. This brings tremendous wealth to
America; creates millions of new jobs; ends the real estate, foreclosure and
banking crisis; and brings in new employers and employees to resolve the Social
Security crisis.
>
> #7) Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are
eating up the entire U.S. budget. They will single-handedly destroy the U.S.
economy within twenty years. Social Security can be secured and the debt
reigned in with an immediate rise in the age of retirement to age 68 for anyone
younger than 55…and within five years raise the age of retirement again to age
70. This phase-in secures Social Security without raising taxes.
>
> #7a) Combine this age raise with a Partial
Privatization of Social Security for younger workers. This gives younger
Americans ownership of their own retirement accounts. Upon death, it belongs to
their family.
>
> #7b) Convert Medicare & Medicaid into block
grants and hand the entire budgets to the states. Let each state offer higher
deductibles and incentives for recipients to save money on medical care. States
get to keep the savings. This will turn the states into competitors, fostering
competition to attract new residents and taxpayers.
>
> #8) Legalize, regulate & tax online gaming and
medical marijuana — raising almost $300 Billion over the next decade, directed
to deficit reduction.
>
> #9) Dramatically cut the size of government with an
immediate freeze of all government hiring; freeze all salaries; and immediately
cancel all cost of living raises and step-up raises. This freeze should stay in
effect until the average compensation of government employees is equal to the
private sector.
>
> #10) Implement government employee pension reform by
changing from defined benefit to defined contribution plans (just like a
private sector 401k). This eliminates all debate over age of retirement for
government employees and how government pensions are funded. It no longer
matters, as the government is no longer responsible for funding their retirement.
>
> #10a) Ban unionization of government employees,
thereby eliminating collective bargaining.
Government employees shouldn’t be squeezing taxpayers.
>
> #11) Pass a Balanced Budget Amendment to the
Constitution to take effect after the end of the Income Tax Vacation.
>
> #12) To achieve a balanced budget, institute
dramatic cuts in government spending — 30% across the board cuts for all
departments, no exceptions (including military and defense) phased in over 3
years (10% per year). After that, limit any increase in spending to population
growth plus inflation.
>
> #12a) Give the President the line item veto to carve
additional waste out of each and every bill passed by Congress.
>
> #13) Audit all federal agencies and programs to
determine if they or their spending are Constitutional. This would automatically result in the
banning of TARP, stimulus and bailouts FOREVER.
>
> #14) End the Iraq and Afghanistan wars — that
includes bringing home the 50,000 troops remaining in Iraq presently.
>
> #14a) Demand Congress issue a formal declaration of
war before fighting any future wars (unless responding in self-defense). This
would reduce the likelihood of future wars, thereby saving taxpayers billions
in potential deficit spending.
>
> #14b) Phase out ALL foreign aid by cutting out 10%
per year for 10 years — thereby giving all our allies time to prepare.
>
> #14c) Dramatically cut the number of military bases
across the globe — specifically Japan, Germany and South Korea. It is time for
our rich friends to pay their own way.
>
> #15) Repeal Universal Healthcare, institute Tort
Reform, expand freedom of consumer choice (allowing consumers to buy across
state lines), and expand HSAs (Health Savings accounts). Make all health costs
— including insurance — 100% tax deductible.
>
> #16) Education — Eliminate the Department of
Education, redirect the funds to the state and local level. Ban unionization of
teachers. End tenure — job security and compensation must be based on
performance. Encourage school choice, parental freedom, and vouchers at the
state and local level. A well-educated country is essential to the economic
future of America. Teachers unions have damaged education almost beyond repair.
>
> #17) Energy — Encourage unlimited offshore drilling
to dramatically lessen our dependence on foreign oil. But in return for
unlimited drilling, end all special tax breaks and subsidies to the oil
industry.
>
> 17a) Have the U.S. Government offer a $27 Billion
prize to the company or companies that find an economical, domestically-sourced
replacement for fossil fuel. The amount of this prize is roughly equal to the
annual budget of the Department of Energy. By offering a prize for performance
and closing down this agency, we save the taxpayers tens of billions in future
spending. And once a company succeeds and claims the prize, we eliminate the
motivation of going to war to secure access to foreign oil. This “open source problem solving” should be
used to solve many of the biggest challenges facing our country.
>
> #18) Perhaps most importantly, LIMIT THE POWER OF
CONGRESS:
>
> a) Limit all members of Congress to two terms.
> b) Limit the amount of time Congress can meet to
only four months per year. The less time they have to create more laws, the
less damage they can do to the American people and the U.S. economy.
> c) Limit Congress to passing only bills that are
PROVEN constitutional (Enumerated Powers Act).
> d) Place a three-year moratorium on passing any new
rules, regulations or mandates on the American people or American business.
> e) Immediately ban Congress from hiring staff with
outstanding tax debts or liens. If the people that run the country can’t pay
their tax bills, they have no right to ask us to pay ours.
> f) Require that all bills be read out loud in front
of a fully assembled Congress before voting on them. This will put an end to 2,000 page laws that
no member of Congress ever reads, but all Americans are required to follow.
> g) Post all bills online at least four weeks for
public vetting before voting on them.
> h) Mandate that all bills passed by Congress also
apply to members of Congress.

Mark Cuban's Magnet to Bring Breitbart's 'Occupy Unmasked' to Theatres
"This film is controversial, and that's exactly the reason we want to ensure it can find its audience prior to the November elections.” -- Mark Cuban co-studio head of Magnolia Pictures
Mark Cuban is a man who, in February of this year, attended a $30,000 a plate Obama fundraiser. Reportedly, as President Obama entered the event, he and Cuban "embraced warmly."
Magnolia Pictures is a specialty
releasing company (its "edgier" label is Magnet), that is known mainly
for its backing of left-wing films, which include, "Casino Jack and the
United States of Money," "Enron: The Smartest Guy in the Room," "Food,
Inc.," "God Bless America," "Jesus Camp," "No End in Sight," and
"Redacted."
Cuban's quote, however, isn't about
what you might think. He's not only talking about his eagerness to
release on multiple platforms, and just before the upcoming election, a
film that takes no prisoners in exposing the left, it's a film
"presented by" none other than Andrew Breitbart (read the official
statement below).
Four years ago, just before the launch
of his flagship site Big Hollywood, Andrew said he had one simple goal: a
seat at the table. The idea was never to silence the left or to do to
Hollywood what it had done to conservatives and conservative ideas --
exterminate them. All Andrew wanted was for our side and our ideas and
beliefs to get a fair hearing in the world of popular culture.
Had you asked him then if he thought it
was possible that a mere four years later one of the most openly
liberal Hollywood players would not only distribute a film that was his
brainchild but do so right before a crucial presidential election, I'm
not sure what Andrew would've said. But I would've told you you were
insane.
Mark Cuban didn’t have to do this. He
certainly doesn’t need the money and has to know that Big Hollywood has
been critical of some of his films. Moreover, just a few months ago,
Cuban invested $30,000 into ensuring Obama's reelection. But now he's
going to invest who knows how much money into ensuring a film highly
critical of Obama, one that takes an unflinching look at an appalling
movement that the president not only encouraged but also endorsed, is
seen by as many potential voters as possible.
But such is the power of Andrew
Breitbart -- his drive, fight, charisma, and brilliance. We are now in
the fifth month after his untimely passing and the ripple effect of his
influence and impact is not only not receding, it's growing into something closer to a tidal wave.
With the announcement of the kind of
distribution deal for "Andrew Breitbart Presents: Occupy Unmasked" any
independent filmmaker would kill for, Andrew has not only earned himself
a seat at the table, but he did so in the most impossible way
imaginable: He did so without compromise; he did so without taking even a
baby step back from beliefs his ideas, his agenda and who he is.
In Hollywood, that's a miracle and practically unheard of even if you're Stephen Spielberg. Andrew Breitbart accomplishing this leaves me speechless.
There was no quit in Andrew, though,
nor was there ever a lack of faith that over the Hollywood Wall he
would find the like-minded who just needed to know they weren't alone
and liberals (in the true sense of that word) who might not have agreed
with his politics but would find common ground around the idea of "more
voices, not less."
In Mark Cuban, Andrew found his man.

Va. won't further probe charges of illegal voter registration by: Washington Examiner
Virginia election officials decided Monday
to not take action against a D.C. group that sent voter registration
cards to dead people, children and pets and prompted calls for an
investigation from Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
The Virginia Board of Elections said it was already working with the Voter Participation Center to improve the group's registration practices so ineligible voters would not be targeted in the future.
Romney's campaign recently called for an investigation of the group, which targeted minorities and young voters when it sent out 200,000 registration cards. The campaign said it was satisfied with the board's decision.
"The Voter Participation Center has already admitted its misconduct, and we are glad that the State Board of Elections quickly convened a meeting on the issue," said Romney spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg. "Even in the absence of a formal investigation, we are heartened that the group is being forced to stop mailing misleading, [partially completed] voter registration forms in Virginia."
The Voter Participation Center's effort led to about 15,000 legal registrations, though the group admitted that many ineligible voters also inadvertently received cards. State election officials said they received hundreds of complaints about the group's latest mailing.
"Any time these groups do a mass mailing we get complaints," said Justin Riemer, spokesman for the State Board of Elections. "We've worked [with VPC] in the past and we're going to continue to work with the organization."
The group has another blast of voter registration cards it will send out in late August or early September, Riemer added.

Romney Outraised Obama in July by Chris Laible | August 06, 2012
For the third month in a row, Mitt Romney
has outraised President Obama in fundraising. Governor Romney raked in
$101.3 million for the month while Obama trailed with over $75 million,
according to both campaigns.
This is the second month in a row the presumptive Republican candidate has surpassed the $100 million mark - he raised more than $106 million in June, shattering the previous GOP record. The money is split between the Romney campaign, Romney Victory, and the Republican National Committee.
The Obama campaign along with the Democratic National Committee will split their earnings, touting 761,000 donors for the month with over 200,000 contributions from new donors who did not contribute to the president's campaign this cycle or in 2008.
Romney and the RNC now have $185.9 million cash on hand. The Obama team has not released their available funds. "Once again we see that for many people, this is more than a campaign, it is a cause," Romney Victory National Finance Chairman Spencer Zwick said in a statement. "We are honored to have the support of a broad spectrum of donors-Independents, Democrats and Republicans-whose support of Governor Romney shows that he has the needed plan to jumpstart our economy and get the country on the right track again."
According to the Romney campaign, 94.13% of donations were less than $250 dollars, bringing in $25.7 million of the total number. Donations came from all 50 states and Washington, DC. The Obama campaign says their average donation for July was $53.49 with 98% of contributions of $250 or less.
Fox News White House Producer Sarah Courtney contributed to this report.

Great candidates.
We often overlook many great candidates on the local levels. Your city, township and county governments are as important to your daily life as Washington. Here is an example of a great "local" candidate.

Romney: It's Time For Leadership That Will Put Aside Partisanship And Focus On The Nation
BRIAN WILLIAMS: And when Mitt Romney arrives in Washington, how will
Washington be any different from the Washington we've seen these past
few years, which any American will tell you is hopelessly broken,
busted?
MITT ROMNEY: You know, all I can say is that I got elected governor of a state that was 87% Democrat. And it was not lost on me that if I went around attacking the Democrat leadership, I was gonna get nothing done and none of my vetoes would be upheld. And I began a relationship with the speaker of the House and the Senate president that was personal. We respected each other. We often disagreed. But we found common ground from time to time.
That has to happen. There has to be a president that buries the hatchet and says, "We're gonna go to work to try and get America on track." We-- we're at a critical time in this country. If we keep going down the path we're on, we're gonna end up like Europe or worse. It's time to have leadership that will put aside Republican and par-- and-- and Democrat, and instead focus on what's necessary for the nation. I'm willing to do that. I think others in Washington have recognized the need to do that. I see hopeful signs we're gonna finally get America on track again.
